WINDOW SERIES or ... "small, stained glass"

(Above:  Window CCI.  Each "Window" measures 18" x 16" framed and costs $265 plus South Carolina sales tax (unfortunately this applies even on out-of-state transactions because I live in one of those pesky places that insists on it) and shipping.  Click on any image to enlarge.)

This post was updated with brand new artwork on Christmas Eve 2022.  At that time, all the pieces were available but after New Year's Day, some will go to the Grovewood Gallery in Asheville, NC where I've enjoyed representation for more than a decade!

I accept all major credit cards.  To order or ask additional questions, please email me at either mouse_house@prodigy.net or susan@susanlenz.com.  My husband Steve and I can also be reached on the Mouse House business telephone, (803) 254-0842.  We can be reached on our cell phones too.  Steve's is (803) 360-3035. Mine is (803) 606-9804.  All three numbers can accept a FaceTime call too. Otherwise, Mouse House is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 - 5:00 and most Saturdays from 10 - 2.  These prices are exactly the same as galleries carrying my work.

Each piece is layers of polyester stretch velvet fused to recycled, black industrial felt.  Strips of sheer chiffon shift and add colors. Then, each piece is free-motion machine stitched with 100% black cotton thread.  Next, holes are melted through the layers using two sizes of soldering irons.  Finally, the work is subjected to the intense heat of a heat gun which melts away the felt that is between the polyester velvet shapes.  Because the thread is COTTON ... a natural that doesn't melt ... the shapes are held together.  Everyone asks about the "fringe".  What is it?  Just excess melted felt stuck in a line of stitching!  Each framed work is just $265 plus South Carolina sales tax and shipping.  I charge exactly what FedEx Ground charges me plus about $5 for the box ... basically, I round up to the nearest sensible amount which is close to $4 to $5.
